TFM – Tourism Forum of Maharashtra.

Tourism Forum of Maharashtra (TFM) is a Group of like-minded people who are passionate towards meaningful contribution to improve tourism in Maharashtra. We initiate a common agenda with a goal to make Maharashtra, one of the most preferred Tourist destinations amongst Indian and international travelers.

TFM was founded in year 2020, by the stakeholders like Tourism professionals, Hoteliers, Tourism establishment owners, who are eager to increase collective tourism traffic into different cities of Maharashtra.

We work with a mission in mind and warmth in our heart to bring light on untouched and undiscovered places of Maharashtra to the global canvas. The Forum Support focused development efforts towards betterment of Tourism Industry within Maharashtra. TFM eventually aims to deliver satisfactory holiday experience and great holiday memories to every visiting traveler to Maharashtra with Private & Public participation.

TFM is dedicated to make Maharashtra the first choice of tourists for their vacations. We look forward to create a platform to showcase Maharashtra, Globally.

Mr. Rajesh Arge - President TFM

Rajesh Arge, MD ‘Om Tourism’ Pune is associated with tourism industry since last 25 years. A true entrepreneur who started with mere selling bus tickets has grown into a trusted DMC for Maharashtra. ‘Maharashtra Maza’ is the brand initiated by Om Tourism to promote Maharashtra in B2B segment. His close association with hotels, vehicle suppliers.

Mr. Priyank Ranka - Vice President TFM

Priyaank Ranka, with entrepreneurship and business in blood, Priyank is the Managing director at Altair Holidays Pvt. Ltd. and founder director at Aviorr Resorts and Camps Pvt Ltd. He specializes in corporate, leisure, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions/Events) and DMC (Destination Management Services) within Dubai and Maharashtra. A boutique repost near Shirwal is owned by him.

He has been awarded by UBM as the Most Preferred Travel and Tour Company in 2018, followed by India travel Awards as Best MICE Operator (West India) in 2019

Mr. Krishna Gopalan - Secretory TFM

Krishna Gopalan has 30 years of solid experience in the travel & tourism industry. currently working as Vice President in Travel Masters (Mumbai) Pvt. Ltd. Krishna also served as Chairman, Board of Studies Diploma in Travel & Tourism at Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune, Other portfolios he has handled include Chairman, Travel Agents Association of India, Pune Chapter, He is currently sharing his time with Secretary of Skål International India

Ms. Vaishnavi Watwe - Treasurer TFM

Vaishnavi , Proprietor at Travel Club. began her journey in tourism with formal education in Travel & tourism, she holds BA.Tourism degree IGNOU, Brings in more than 15 years of experience in inbound tourism. Starting her tourism journey from Durban, South Africa, she has experimented in different special interest tours like “find your Roots” tours for Migrated Indian (अप्रवासी भारतीय) for Northern regions of India & also in Maharashtra for Marathi migrants from Mauritius. With her interests in Photography, Painting, Food she also active in promoting ‘Wine tourism’ in Maharashtra.

Mr. Sarang Bhide - Committee member TFM

Sarang has roots into tourism since last couple of decades with specialization in training and education. Currently he is associated with Pune University for a project to showcase “Indian Culture” to global students. As a trainer he is associated with various management institutions like MIT world peace, SP Pune University and leading travel academies in Pune. He holds experience from all segments of tourism from star hotels to adventure travel companies. He is promoter of Sarang Global Tours, a domestic and outbound tour company. “Pedal Wali” for cycle tourism and “iRoots” for heritage tourism are couple of initiatives by him to promote regional tourism in Maharashtra

Mr. Manoj Menon - Committee member TFM

Manoj Menon is associated as the Vice President (Operations) at the O Hotel, Pune, Manoj carries a solid experience in Hospitality industry over 30 years. A Sales and Marketing professional by education, Manoj has served as a sales manager, then moving to setting up hotels (14 in all) and running them successfully in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa. He champions areas of feasibility study, setting up of hotels, setting up S.O.P’s & the sales team, training, revenue management, designing special packages, the tariff and interface with owners and clients.
